Take a Ride in the 'Cat with Eldora’s Snowmaking Manager, Josh Zeigler.
Eldora's "Closer to You" series showcases the people who make the Eldora community so special.
Josh Ziegler steps up into his shiny red PistenBully snowcat, drops its powerful blade, and starts pushing a massive pile of what he likes to call “man-made powder.” Zeigler, Eldora’s snowmaking manager, grins as he manipulates the snow in preparation for the upcoming ski season.

In September 2017, Eldora ski patroller Jessica Keil and a climbing partner traveled to the remote mountain range of Nyainbo Yuze in China’s Qinghai province to embark on an ambitious alpine-climbing expedition. After entering the range on September 29th, Jessica and her partner needed to decide between three valleys to make home for the next few weeks. They decided to head to the northernmost part of the range, to a valley not yet visited by climbers, and set up a camp at 4,300 meters.
