BOULDER CANYON CONSTRUCTION PROJECT

Starting March 2019, construction begins on a 15-mile stretch between Boulder and Nederland. The project is designed to remove the temporary repairs made after the flooding in 2013, with permanent, more long term repairs. Improvements will build in better storm resiliency and upgrade sections of the highway to improve motorist safety in the canyon.

Weather, venue, set-up, course-build, music, vibe—it all came together for the 3rd Annual Trick Ditch Banked Slalom, presented by 10 Barrel Brewing, right here at Eldora. Our Woodward parks crew spent the week prior pulling countless overtime hours to prepare a world-class venue comprised of a banked slalom course and, at the bottom, a quarterpipe/hip/big-air mashup feature.

Lukas Nelson Headlines Subaru Winterfest

National touring acts to play March 22-24 at Boulder County’s backyard ski area as part of experiential mountain lifestyle tour. ​​​

Eldora hosts its biggest-ever live music event this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, March 22–24, when Subaru WinterFest returns to the Boulder County ski area. National touring acts Trout Steak Revival will play on Friday, followed by Lukas Nelson & Promise of The Real on Saturday, and the The Lil Smokies on Sunday.

Eldora Announces SPRING THING

We’re Extending the Season, Dropping Ticket Prices, Opening Early this Wednesday, and Stacking the Event Calendar.

As our locals know well, spring is the thing at Eldora. It’s the best time of year, when days are long, snow is ample and soft, and the calendar is flooded with fantastic music, events, and competitions. It’s why we call the season’s final month SPRING THING.

High Fives and Handplants Double Down Benefit Jam - February 22nd, 2019

On February 22nd, Eldora hosted the second of three events in the Ante Up Freestyle Fridays contest series. Over 30 local skiers and snowboarders competed on unique skate-style quarter pipe setup. 

The series continues culminates with the "Sweet Action Invitational (Everyone's Invited)" on Friday, March 15th.
